Mindfulness / Meditation Training
These days, Mindfulness Meditation is a popular training meditation method. This training, popularized by Jon Kabat-Zinn, is part of the 2500 year old Buddhist Vipassana training based on the 4 Foundations of Mindfulness as well as the 4 Noble Truths. Before Covid time, I was teaching many MBSR trainings in local hospitals, corporations and retreat centers.
As a student of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Naropa University, I am also a teacher of Maitri Space Awareness. Maitri Space Awareness is a Tibetan buddhist wisdom practice using postures, colors, and elemental understanding to awaken inner wisdom in its 5 forms. Perhaps when the pandemic wanes, and we go back to in person trainings, I could again open these paths to students.
For now, I have no retreats or classes scheduled. Impermanence is a truth we all experience.
